Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to diverse patient populations under preceptor guidance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Administer medications and treatments per established protocols and physician orders
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
- Attend and actively contribute to nursing education and skills workshops
- Adhere to all HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Active Michigan RN license or eligible by start date
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to professional development and lifelong learning
