Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor vital signs and report any significant changes to the nursing supervisor.
- Provide direct patient care, comfort, and emotional support to patients and families.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the New York State Department of Education.
- BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) preferred; Associate degree in Nursing accepted.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
