Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care during overnight hours in assigned units
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions using advanced clinical judgment
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and safety
- Coordinate care plans with interdisciplinary teams including physicians and specialists
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and critical events
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active North Carolina RN license (or compact state license)
- BSN preferred; Associate's degree with 2+ years experience considered
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience in relevant specialty
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC preferred
- Proven ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
