Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care during night shifts, including medication administration and treatment monitoring
- Assess patient conditions and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care plans
- Document patient records accurately and maintain strict compliance with healthcare regulations
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism and critical thinking
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health management
- Supervise LPNs and nursing assistants to ensure optimal care delivery
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active Ohio RN license (or compact state license)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure night shift environments
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
