Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in accordance with evidence-based practices and hospital protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies with precision and safety
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting all changes in the electronic health record system
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with calm professionalism and critical thinking
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active California RN license in good standing
- BSN degree preferred (ADN accepted with 2+ years experience)
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience in hospital setting
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Strong clinical skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
