Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessment and care planning for assigned patients
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation accuracy
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism and rapid intervention
- Maintain accurate electronic health records using Epic EMR system
- Mentor new nursing staff and contribute to continuous quality improvement
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid California RN license (current and unrestricted)
- BSN degree (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- Proven ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
