Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Monitor and document patient progress with electronic health records (EHR)
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Mentor new staff and support continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO and regulatory standards
- Coordinate patient discharges and handovers to day shift teams
Qualifications
- Active AZ RN license (or compact license with quick AZ endorsement)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (Med/Surg, ICU, ER, or Telemetry)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication abilities for night shift collaboration
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
