Responsibilities
- Deliver expert nursing care to diverse patient populations during overnight shifts
- Administer medications and treatments with precise documentation
- Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans and patient assessments
- Respond to critical situations with rapid intervention protocols
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and compliance standards
- Mentor new staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Virginia
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced nocturnal environments
