Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients across diverse units including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies with precision
- Monitor vital signs and respond to critical changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated patient care
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in Epic EHR
- Mentor new staff and uphold safety protocols during overnight shifts
- Participate in rapid response and trauma activations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New Mexico or compact state
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with experience considered)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stress environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays
