Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans during overnight hours
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care across shifts
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Mentor junior staff and implement evidence-based practices
- Respond to rapid response codes and critical patient situations
- Coordinate with physicians and specialists for urgent care decisions
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (TX RN)
- BSN degree or equivalent experience (ADN with 3+ years)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience
- Night shift or critical care background preferred
- Strong proficiency in EPIC EHR systems
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
