Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings during overnight shifts
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions using advanced monitoring systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism and critical thinking
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the State of Colorado
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or obtained within 30 days)
- Strong assessment skills and clinical judgment
- Experience with Epic electronic health records
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in fast-paced environments
