Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in critical care units and general medical-surgical floors
- Administer medications, perform assessments, and document clinical outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient treatment plans
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and regulatory compliance
- Mentor junior staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state)
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Experience with Epic EHR system preferred
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
