Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in emergency, med-surg, and ICU units during overnight shifts
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
- Monitor vital signs and document patient progress in electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Respond to emergencies and perform life-saving interventions
- Mentor new staff and uphold highest standards of patient safety
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (or compact license)
- BSN preferred; ADN with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- EMR proficiency (EPIC experience preferred)
