Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care during overnight shifts with precision and compassion
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with meticulous documentation
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding swiftly to emergent situations
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the State of Texas (RN)
- BSN degree preferred; ADN with relevant experience considered
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience (ER, ICU, or Med-Surg)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work autonomously
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Availability for consistent 12-hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)
