Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessments and critical care interventions during overnight hours
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while maintaining accurate documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless care transitions
- Respond to emergency situations with calm expertise and rapid clinical judgment
- Mentor junior staff and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Utilize advanced monitoring systems to track patient vitals and response to therapies
- Coordinate discharge planning and patient education for overnight admissions
Qualifications
- Active Washington State RN license (or compact license)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care experience with night shift background
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Expertise in telemetry, ventilator management, and emergency protocols
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong electronic health record proficiency (EPIC experience preferred)
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-stress environments
