Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment plans during overnight shifts
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care for critically ill patients
- Utilize advanced monitoring systems for rapid intervention in emergency situations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with meticulous attention to detail
- Lead rapid response team activations and code blue emergencies
- Mentor new nurses and implement evidence-based practice improvements
- Ensure strict adherence to HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Indiana (or compact state)
- BSN degree with 2+ years acute care experience (or ADN with 5+ years)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- Previous night shift or ICU/ER experience preferred
- Proficiency in Epic electronic health records
- Demonstrated critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities
