Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assessment during overnight shifts
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Respond to emergency situations with critical thinking
- Mentor new staff and uphold hospital safety standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license required
- BSN preferred; associate degree considered with experience
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Experience with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
