Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in emergency, ICU, and med-surg units during night shifts
- Assess patient conditions, administer medications, and monitor vital signs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and critical incidents
- Mentor junior staff and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New Mexico
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during night shifts
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
