Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including medication administration, wound care, and treatment procedures
- Monitor and document vital signs, patient responses, and treatment progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Respond to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and self-care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and regulatory compliance
- Supervise LPN staff and nursing assistants during shift
Qualifications
- Active Florida RN license (required)
- ACLS/BLS certifications (required)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (preferred)
- Night shift experience (required)
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs
