Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations with rapid intervention
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop and execute patient care plans
- Document patient information accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Supervise LPNs and CNAs while maintaining quality standards and safety protocols
- Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges during overnight hours
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous education programs
Qualifications
- Active Oklahoma RN license (or compact license with willingness to obtain OK license)
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 1 year acute care experience (night shift experience preferred)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (PALS preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and acuity levels
