Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessment and care planning in acute care settings
- Administer medications and treatments with precision and documentation accuracy
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Respond to emergent situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Maintain precise electronic health record documentation
- Lead patient/family education on treatment plans and discharge protocols
- Mentor new nursing staff during high-acuity night shifts
Qualifications
- Active Massachusetts RN license required
- BSN preferred (ADN candidates considered with 2+ years experience)
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications mandatory
- Proficiency in Epic EHR system
- Demonstrated critical thinking in high-pressure environments
- Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient acuity levels
