Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs throughout the night shift.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Respond immediately to patient emergencies and critical situations with clinical competence.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care, procedures, and outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health management.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred, with ICU or Med-Surg experience a plus.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
