Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care during night shifts in various departments including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and document patient assessments with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Respond to emergencies and critical situations with calm professionalism
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and health management
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous learning opportunities
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Nebraska
- BSN degree or equivalent experience (ADN with 2+ years of night shift experience)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; PALS preferred
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- Demonstrated proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Strong communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
