Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health and administer prescribed medications, treatments, and IV fluids in a timely manner.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and accurately document vital signs and medical history.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and initiate appropriate life-saving interventions.
- Provide emotional support and health education to patients and their families.
- Maintain strict adherence to hospital protocols, safety standards, and HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
