Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to physicians and charge nurses immediately.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, utilizing critical thinking and clinical judgment.
- Provide patient education and support to families regarding diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting (preferred for night shift).
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as necessary.
