Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient assessment, treatment, and care coordination during overnight shifts
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions with precision
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior nursing staff during night operations
- Respond effectively to critical situations and rapid response team activations
Qualifications
- Valid NYS Registered Nurse license (RN) in good standing
- BSN degree preferred; ADN with relevant experience considered
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience required
- BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory; PALS preferred
- Demonstrated expertise in night shift protocols and emergency response
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities under pressure
- Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams
