Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive direct patient care and monitor vital signs throughout the night shift.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care plans, and outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and patient needs with a calm and professional demeanor.
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning as needed.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (RN license required).
- BSN preferred; Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems is a plus.
