Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations upon admission and during shifts.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and nursing standards.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, documenting changes immediately.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary staff to ensure continuity of care.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and critical incidents following hospital protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting (Critical Care preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as needed.
