Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in our 24/7 emergency department and intensive care units
- Administer medications, treatments, and perform complex nursing interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vitals, document electronic health records, and report critical changes
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and staff training
- Provide mentorship to new nursing staff during night shift rotations
Qualifications
- Active Washington State RN license (or compact license with WA endorsement)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work independently in high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- BSN degree preferred (ADN candidates with equivalent experience considered)
