Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based patient care during overnight shifts in acute and critical care units
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform emergency interventions with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead patient education initiatives for complex conditions and discharge planning
- Mentor junior staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Respond effectively to rapid response and code blue situations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or compact state eligibility)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- BSN preferred; ADN candidates with relevant experience considered
- Proficiency in Epic EHR systems and tele monitoring technology
- Demonstrated critical thinking and crisis management skills
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced nocturnal workflows
- Strong communication skills with Spanish fluency preferred
