Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patient vital signs and clinical conditions during the night shift to ensure stability and safety.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies in strict accordance with hospital protocols.
- Respond immediately to patient emergencies, code blue calls, and critical alarms with precision and urgency.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with the nursing team, physicians, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure seamless continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care plans and health management strategies.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred; telemetry experience is a plus.
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills under pressure.
- Ability to work independently and maintain focus during night shifts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
