Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by obtaining vital signs, performing physical examinations, and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with hospital protocols.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Monitor patient conditions continuously and intervene immediately if any changes or complications occur.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare team members to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters, assessments, and interventions.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred; new graduates welcome to apply.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by the department.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
