Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care during night shifts with precise medication administration and treatment monitoring
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in electronic health records (EHR)
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with rapid assessment and intervention
- Mentor junior staff and maintain compliance with JCAHO and state nursing regulations
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska RN license (or compact license with quick endorsement process)
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience, night shift preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required); ACLS preferred for new hires
- Proficiency in EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing patient conditions
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
