Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including medication administration, wound care, and treatment monitoring
- Assess patient conditions, document medical histories, and update electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Respond to emergency situations and perform life-saving interventions
- Supervise LVNs and CNAs, ensuring compliance with healthcare protocols
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor vital signs and report significant changes to physicians
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Ohio (or compact state)
- BSN preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Ability to work independently in fast-paced night shift environment
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
