Job Summary
We are looking for a Registered Nurse to provide exceptional patient care during the night hours. You will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure the highest standards of safety and care.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans during the night shift.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict adherence to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patients closely for changes in condition and respond immediately to medical emergencies.
- Document patient care activities, vital signs, and outcomes accurately and timely in electronic health records.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate patients and families on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Kansas.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously during night shifts.
