Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and support under the supervision of senior nursing staff.
- Assess patient health conditions by monitoring vital signs and symptoms.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in strict accordance with safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to develop patient care plans.
- Ensure patient safety and infection control standards are met at all times.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care plans and updates.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is a plus.
- Current RN license to practice in the state of Nebraska (or willingness to obtain).
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new medical procedures and technologies.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
