Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient care activities, interventions, and responses accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Provide direct patient care and education to patients and their families regarding their health conditions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursing unit environment.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare setting.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new medical technologies and procedures.
