Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care including assessment, medication administration, and treatment implementation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans
- Monitor patient progress and document clinical observations accurately in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment protocols, and preventive care
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities
- Respond effectively to emergency situations and provide life-saving interventions when necessary
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program
- Current RN license in Louisiana or ability to obtain immediately
- Pass NCLEX-RN exam (or scheduled to take within 90 days)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
