Responsibilities
- Deliver patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patient vital signs and document clinical observations accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge instructions
- Maintain sterile environments and infection control procedures
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
- Pass NCLEX-RN exam results or scheduled test date
- BLS certification (AHA preferred)
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and weekends as needed
- Clinical rotation experience or new graduate program completion
