Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on evidence-based practices.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vitals and symptoms continuously, escalating concerns immediately to the healthcare team.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and therapists to ensure holistic patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient medical records and care interventions.
- Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of California.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to perform under pressure in a high-volume environment.
