Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and monitor vital signs, symptoms, and general well-being.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, post-care, and health management.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and code blue situations.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong patient-centered approach.
