Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based nursing care to diverse patient populations in a fast-paced acute care environment
- Administer medications, perform diagnostic procedures, and monitor vital signs with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments and interventions using our advanced electronic health record system
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medication protocols, and discharge planning
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and hospital safety protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to unit performance metrics
Qualifications
- Current California RN license (or compact license with CA endorsement)
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC/PALS preferred
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience in a hospital setting
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to handle high-acuity cases
- Strong interpersonal communication skills with diverse populations
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
