Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality direct patient care, monitoring vital signs and responding promptly to changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with established protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately and completely in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, health management, and discharge instructions.
- Assist with triage and emergency response during critical care situations.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and quality care standards.
