Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Collaborate effectively with the nursing staff and interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Communicate changes in patient condition to the Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse promptly.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Minnesota CNA License (RN candidates also welcome).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients safely (up to 50 lbs).
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Previous experience in a hospital or long-term care setting is highly preferred.
