Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in diverse clinical settings including ER, ICU, Med-Surg, and specialty units
- Administer medications, perform patient assessments, and maintain accurate medical documentation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Adhere to strict infection control protocols and regulatory standards (JCAHO, OSHA)
- Provide patient education and support to promote health and recovery
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with quick clinical decision-making
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and complete shift handovers
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (compact license accepted)
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care experience in assigned specialty
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; PALS/NRP preferred for specialty roles
- Proven ability to work independently in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid California driver's license (for facility transport if required)
