Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate direct patient care in a fast-paced medical environment.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress while updating medical records accurately.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatments, and post-care instructions.
- Respond to medical emergencies and perform basic life support (BLS) procedures as needed.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred for acute care roles.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient privacy standards.
