Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans based on medical history and current condition.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any critical changes or abnormalities to the charge nurse or physician immediately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and pharmacists, to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, assessments, and interventions.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
