Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care and comprehensive health assessments in accordance with state regulations and facility protocols.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by licensed physicians and providers.
- Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor vital signs and patient conditions continuously, reporting any significant changes or emergencies to the charge nurse immediately.
- Document patient care accurately, timely, and thoroughly in electronic health records (EHR) to ensure continuity of care.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff at all times.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience preferred in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
