Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Administer medications and treatments while strictly adhering to hospital protocols and safety standards.
- Monitor patient vitals and progress, documenting all data accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and disease management.
- Respond swiftly to critical care situations and emergency calls.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety rounds.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
