Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in Electronic Health Records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop patient care plans.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and alarms.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Illinois (IL).
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing School (BSN preferred, ADN accepted for entry level).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications required (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate bedside manner.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Commitment to HIPAA compliance and patient privacy standards.
